Hi to all! This is my first post here so I'll give a little info first. This is a friends Dell Dimension 4550 that was loaded with baddies. She was ready to toss it but since I'm a sucker I agreed to see what I could find to get it up and running again. What I found was the fact that she downloads anything she can and all without a firewall, av (hers had expired subscription) or any other form of "protection". I downloaded a firewall, av, Ad Aware, SpyBot S&D, Spyware Blaster, and FireFox. When I ran scans I came up with over 600 things I had to get rid of (and she wondered why her computer wouldn't run right). Anyway I think I got most of it since I can get on the internet without all the porn. Also I don't seem to be having all the problems with it being so slow as I did at first. Could someone just check to make sure I got it all before I turn her loose on her computer again. Also when you reply please keep in mind that I know almost nothing as far as computers go. Thanks in advance and here is my log:

    Hi NewGirlLearning, welcome aboard :)

    You did good!

Additionally fix these as well :

Restart PC after doing so and remove :

    C:\Program Files\MyWay <- this folder

Don't forget to clean temp internet files

Hope this helps, but looks like you did all the hard work ;)

    Cheers,
