How can I get rid of the "Welcome to Opera!" and start surfing wth Opera!

I'm a long time user of Opera but I've never seen such a bad screw up by Opera!!

Just set your startup to "start with homepage" and you will get whatever homepage you have set.

I'm really going to miss Opera ...

You can set it up in 'General' as you want. Here it is set to Speed Dial.

With the move to webkit, will opera users lose the customizations and keyboard shortcuts that came with presto? :(

I'm not sure what you mean by 'Welcome to Opera'. A screenshot woud be helpful zip.

If you wait long enough Opera will be Chrome anyway ... ;)
