    Hi!

As you have a variety of issues, I suggest you proceed as follows:

Go to https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=14086 , and download the latest version of CWShredder by Merijn Bellekom, the creator of Hijack This.
Run it, press 'Fix', and allow it to fix all it finds.

Now go to http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/, and download Ad-Aware.
After installing AAW, and before running the program, you NEED to FIRST update the reference file following these instructions.

    Now do the following:

    - Under Ad-aware 6 > Settings (Gear at the top) > Tweaks > Scanning Engine:
check: "Unload recognized processes during scanning."

    - Under Ad-aware 6 > Settings (Gear at the top) > Tweaks > Cleaning Engine:
Check: "Let Windows remove files in use after reboot."

    Press "Scan Now"

    - Check option "Use Custom scanning options"
    - Check option "Activate In-Depth Scan"
    - Press "Select drives\folders to scan"
    - Select the active partition which is usually C:

Now press "Next" to let Ad-aware scan your drives...
It will find a number of "bad" files and registry keys. Click 'Next' again
Right-click in that pane and choose "select all"

If it finds "bad" files and registry keys, press "Next" again
It will ask you whether you'd like to remove all checked items. Click OK.

    Finally, close Ad-Aware, and reboot.
That ought to get rid of most of your spyware.

When you've done all that, re-run Hijack This, and show us a fresh log.
There will be more to do!

    Cheers,

Now restart your computer, and delete the C:\Program Files\SideFind folder, and the C:\WINDOWS\System32\qgpdvv.exe file

NOTE: To avoid the risk of any of the above not being found due to them having the 'Hidden' attribute, first make sure that in Folder Options > View hidden and operating system files are set to show.

Finally uninstall the MyWay Speed Bar, and post a (hopefully) last log.

    Hey Tony,
The only thing I wasn't able to do was uninstall the MyWay Speed Bar. I opened up Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and I couldn't find it. Is it possible I might have uninstalled already before I contacted you? Also, is the program "ScanToWeb" something I might want to uninstall? Anyway, here's my latest and hopefully last log. Once thank you for all your help :D

"ScanToWeb" is related to your scanner, so you should leave that one alone.

Just remove the MyWay folder from C:\Program Files, and you should be good to go. :)

Great! Done and done. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it man! So I think this all started when I downloaded imesh. Do you know of any safe, adware free sites I can go to download music? Thank you once again for all of your advice ;)
