The PC magazine article on NOD32 version 2 states that there is phone support for NOD32: " Like PC-cillin, NOD32 has free phone support from each of the support centers in at least 19 countries, but the calls are not toll-free". I don't see any phone numbers on the NOD32.com site. When I click on support there for the U.S., I get a blank page. Getting a blank page 90% of the time when I click on support for the U.S. doesn't exactly instill confidence in me about Eset's support. If I try repeatedly to bring up the U.S. support page, sometimes I finally get a form to fill out. (I can bring up the German and other countries support page form instantly ...it is just the U.S. one that comes up blank). That form is restrictive and it is not always possible to clearly communicate the problem in those little boxes. I have used it way back when I first got NOD and support from that form was, in my experience, poor. I haven't used it since so support may have greatly improved. There is no phone number listed on that form. So is there phone support for U.S. customers? This is the one thing that makes me hesitate about using NOD32. I also have a license for PC-Cillin 2003 and having free phone support (toll free during regular business hours, also with NO wait on hold, and the engineers are located in California) is great. I would like to know that NOD also has some form of U.S. phone support even if not toll free. I may never need it, but I want it there in case I ever do need it. I had to call Trend Micro several times about a nasty bug that I and others discovered recently and if I had to discuss that by email it would have been difficult to put it mildly. I spent an hour on the phone with one of the engineers discussing the bug...that would not have been easy to do by email. NOD, of course, has this excellent forum and PCC doesn't have an official forum. Still, there are times when nothing but a phone call will suffice so I was quite pleased to read in the PC Magazine article that NOD does have phone support until I couldn't find any phone number for the U.S. I am not a "nervous nellie" but I am realistic and sometimes phone support is needed even for the more experienced users. Plus, Wilders has been down frequently in the last six months, so I do not wish to rely solely on this forum or that support form which I cannot bring up most of the time or just regular email (because, again, I had a terrible experience with email support when I first got NOD32 and I am not confident that it has improved substantially). So is there a number or not?? If not- why not?
