Hello, I have what I call a "phantom process" under System_Tools>System_Control>Control_Active_Processes. The best way to describe it is to refer you to the attached picture below. As you can see there is no process name. Also, it states this "phantom process" has a status of being active for 253 hours 2 minutes when the system has only been active for 6 hours and 34 minutes. This "phantom process" remains both after reboot and a remove/reinstall. I do not know if this is something to be concerned about or not .....
Can you do a new scan and save the scans results and have a look to see if you see anything out of the ordinary and post the lines if there are any? And if you have Process Explorer see if anything shows up there? Also one more thing double click on the phantom process it should open a window with extra info! TIA, TH
Hi TH, I am not an expert as far as the logs are concerned, but I did not see anything strange or out of the ordinary. All lines had files associated with them and all files listed were either E, U, or G; no B's.
8.0.1.95 - WSA-AV had the phantom process show up yesterday during the middle of Windows Updates on all my main pc. Then I checked my other 2 computers and ran windows update on those has well. And they had the same phantom process has well. It did not show up until the .net framework updates where being installed. the phantom process went away after all the updates were done. just thought I would post in case you are running windows update and you watch process very closely you may see it.. I can send logs if you like..
