PGP or GPG

    I've been advised on this forum that PGP is OK to use, security wise, so I've tried it and yeah, it's nice - except for the price. Now, it seems to me that a GPG/TrueCrypt combo would do about the same job - for free. So what are the pro's and con's of either, please?
