PG ver.3 splashing up on start-up

    Just installed PG3 for second time.All problems with first install have cleared up accept thar when XP starts up PG splashes up to full screen at PG main window. I disabled my firewall and AV on install the second time round. Any ideas anyone ? o_O

    Hi Adrian,

    To alter the startup try the following:
    Right click the start button - Open - Programs - Startup - Right click the Process Guard icon - Properties - Make target look like this Target "C:\Program Files\ProcessGuard\procguard.exe" -minimize

    PG should now minimise when started.

    Hello Pilli,
    I checked that setting and it was already O.K, hence no improvement. Also XP is now becoming very reluctant to close down through the start menu, which was one of the problems I had with the first install.This problem did not appear immediately this time though. :doubt:

    Interesting that your shutdown appears to have slowed down, I have not seen any other reports of that behaviour.
    DCS are aware of the -minimize problem and I am sure they will be interested in your other observation above.
