The new version of Spy Bot comes with Teatimer ,which seems to be like the execution protection in PG . Has any one tried the two together? I don't see the need for Teatimer unless I'm mistaken.

Hi William I'm not familiar, yet, with the new function within Spy Bot, it may well do the same sort of thing but here are two tests that may prove which is best.

Using Advanced Process Termination Free DCS download) & with spy bot NOT on the protected list, can you close it and the new function, if so then I would say that Process Guards kernel mode driver will afford better protection ;)

Ensure that notepad.exe has allow in the progrm checksum list before doing this:
Rename notepad.exe to something else then rename any other .exe to notepad.exe - Try running the newly named notepad.exe and you should be alerted of the change.
Do the same in Spybot and compare the results.

We will be interested in your results :)
