persistent new unprotected cookies ('Ad*') in Firefox browser

... upon loading SpywareBlaster just now ... "Mozilla Firefox ... Partially Enabled ... 1 items have protection disabled..." ... '100Hot'

... looks like the sequential occurrence phenomena begins afresh ... FFF

 

Frankenstien:

1. Ensure Firefox is completely closed.
2. Please follow the instructions here to locate your Firefox profile folder: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data
3. You should see a file named "permissions.sqlite". Rename it to "permissions.sqlite.OLD" (or similar).
4. Now open & close Firefox.
5. Open SpywareBlaster and Enable All Protection.

 

Thank you javacool ... done and done ... let's see what happens ...

BTW, what website permissions, ect., if any, will I have lost in the OLD permissions.sqlite file, which was quite sizable (7,424 KB) compared to the newly created one (96 KB)?

Note to self ... applied this procedure to I7 machine, then P70 machine, then reverted I7 machine ...
