PeerBlock, block events

is there a way that I can hide the pop-up screen at the bottom of my monitor without having to allow HTTP?
Let it work in the background, but not keep popping up and covering the bottom of my screen.

 

Huh? I'm a user of PeerBlock and I've NEVER seen a pop-up. Do you have "Blink system tray icon" unchecked, perhaps? I've never done that, but maybe that is why you're getting a pop-up. It's at the bottom of the second section of settings.

 

maybe it's not peer block but I never noticed it before. And I get steady messages with HTTP blocked. A pop up on the bottom my screen that says blocked events and gives a list of letters and numbers, like IPV4 TCP or UDP and then a group of numbers.

That looks alot like an alert from Firewall Control Plus.

 

it is, it's from Windows 7 firewall. I could've sworn that I stopped the firewall, but apparently I didn't. Thanks for the help. Now I just have to find a way to hide that pop up, or else find another firewall.
