    Hello Opaida,

I am a registered user, bought it recently.

Just to check - how to update to v2.2 when it is ready?

I have the option "Check for updates" selected, does that mean it is updated automatically?

It would be nice if your website could list the latest version available.

    Thank you.

Just download it and install (you don't need to uninstall the old version).
    All your configuration will remain.

Note: Ver 2.1 install is different from ver 2.2. So, it's better to uninstall ver 2.1 manually.

I just went to MY COMPUTER > System Properties > Automatic Updates and changed to "Download updates for me, but let me choose when to install them." Previously, it was "Turn off Automatic Updates".

P.S. Also, after making the above change, went and activated " Background Intelligent Transfer Service". I have decided to allow the the install of XP SP3. ;)

P.S.S. This has caused the several popups similar to the following as per the attached screenshots. I have allowed in each case. Just reporting my observations.

The right image is because you are setting the internet mode.
The left image is because PE Guard inspect executing before Hitman pro :).

New version running fine. Don't see why anyone would use anti-executable. It would make more sense if anti-executable would allow saving of processes to create a white list. If process isn't on white list, it doesn't run. This is how most anti-executables work.

Yes I know that. And that's why I don't set this option by default.
Maybe, someon will need it if he was under risk ;).

Also, I published the new version but I didn't stop developing it.

I just thought new version of PE Guard will allow me to do that but I was wrong. Without separate option "remember my choice" it's real pain to use AE built-in PG. Even with mentioned by Opaida countdown time doesn't things easier.

Another question is it possible to another group boxes in PG Warning pop-up? Eg.

I think it will be more clearer than now (it's only suggestion).

    Errors i get:
    1.jpg

    2.jpg

    3.jpg

    Windows 7 x64
I didn't use "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" tool.
Why this happens, if the app supports x64? (PE Guard 2.2)

    Hello all.
After been talking and working with Opaida for some time we have chosen to team up for the future. The deal is that I (Pedersen) will have responsibility for all marketing for the software PE Guard while he (Opaida) will be able to develop the software in peace.
This deal will also mean that PE Guard will be signed by Microsoft and fully functional in the future. I will be using the mail address: Pedersen@ohtic.com for any business regarding PE Guard. You are all welcome to drop by a mail.

We hope that you all will continue supporting this project so the further development can continue. By this I also promise that we won’t use any crapware like ASK Toolbar but keep this program clean and running lightly.

    Best regards.
    Pedersen and Opaida

As I said I didn't stop developing of PE Guard, and I am going to put a remember option in AE alert soon.

Thank you for your suggestion about Alert window. But, I think it doesn't make a big differnece:).
