    Hi,
Yes there is no registery protection. As jmonge said, it'll be in the next version(2.2).

Did MRG test my program? I don't know any think about that!

regarding to its main functions: PEG2 is more powerful than PEG1[ for example, PEG1 works based on extension].
regarding to other features: PEG2 has other features[Like USB protection] whereas PEG1 doesn't have.

    Finally, I've finished my studies.
    And I've graduated :D
    Now, I am a computer engineer[networking dept] :).

I'll resume the development of PEG2 in the following days.
I'll make an update for ver2.1 than I'll start making the new version(2.2) and make three plugins: Registry protection + Cleaner tool + active processes monitor.

Thank you wilders for your encouragement :).
    Opaida.

Languy said PEG has the least informative alerts he has ever seen. PEG failed his first test, but did okay on the others. Languy said it's a tool for advanced users only.

    Faint praise, at best. :doubt:

Re Pe Guard 2.1 Review -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UJy333eSAo- posted by lunaticdreams :thumb:

The first www Languy tested on with the nasty xxx_video_290311.avi

    p.gif

    Is actually XXX_VIDEO_290311.AVI.EXE listed here - http://info.prevx.com/aboutprogramtext.asp?PX5=90F98FD3009A6FD1DE0002249BAE0E0094530D69

Whatever it was sure mashed up his comp

Also after running several nasties which PEG "appeared" to fail, all he did was run several apps to see if they detect anything, and some did. What he didn't do was to check the drive for whatever those apps "may" have missed ? Not doing that leaves the impression that everything was 100% cleaned up. It might have been in this instance, but we don't know. Even if it was, what about ALL the other tests he's done using similar methods ?

Also i've noticed on a lot of his videos, that he doesn't familiarise himself enough with the apps before making the videos. Often he wastes time umming and erring and fumbling around on screen whilst he tries to establish how they work.

As PEGuard is supposed to block other executables as well as .exe

I wonder what went wrong with those nasties that did get through ?

    Hi,
This man made a big mistake, he set the option "Let PE Guard choose" and then run those malwares.. !!!!!!

And this is why he didn't see many popups.

This is what I've said about this option in this topic:

I am working in version 2.2 now.
I've implemented Registry proteciton which includes: Startup protection, Internet settings protection, Group policy protection... etc.

Also, PE Guard 2.2 is compatible with 64 bit.

Version 2.2 will be released soon.
