Why is power mode more secure than internet mode when internet mode won't run a javascript and power mode runs the script without any warning?

Version 2.1, Windows XP Pro, SP3

with power mode you can monitor what happends. wherease with internet mode you can't.

I didn't say internet mode will stop javascript !!
internet mode won't run the new exe files you've downloaded/copying.

In my situation, internet mode is preventing javascript from running. Power mode
allows it to run without warning.

It prevents vbs files not js(javascript).
How did you know that js is prevented in your computer?
For example: if it really prevents javascript, then if you click Log Out here in this forum you won't get the confirmation dialog:
    logout.jpg

    So, do you have it?

Peguard in all modes prevents me from performing certain tasks using my webmail client. If I remove Peguard, the tasks work OK. If I disable Peguard, I still cannot run the tasks. I am not an expert in any sense with javascript.

The javascript appears at the bottom of my webmail as follows:
    javascript:eUI.new_options('212f78..............115bcd',true);
This script allows me to access options such as allowing/denying senders for email.

As I said before, It's not javascript.
Anyway, what's the webmail client you are using?

opaida it will be nice to have an active process list and from it be able to block and terminate unknown active malware process in case of allowing a malware and when running to be able to criple it with a mouse click also it will be nice to have application protection and registry protection?(lock down registry):)the cleaning tool it will be a nice idea too,do you like my idea?maybe not:) anyway PE Guard rocks the way it is so far and what i love it is very fast and light and only 1 process running(around 8 megs in total):) thanks for making Peg2

Thx jmonge for your suggestions. I'll include all of these in the following releases ;).

I'm planning to make PEGuard as a security platform. In the next release(2.2) I'll add a feature to support plug-ins or add-ons. So, There will be plugins for anti-keylogger, detecting hiding processes, registery guard, application guard, hook detection, firewall .. etc. So, any developer can write a pluging and put it in PEG. Then the user has the option to disable/enable what plugins he interests in.

    Bug Fix.

Sorry, but there was a bug in the update engine *puppy*

but now you don't need to reinstall again.
only replace the old peg2.exe by this one:
    xxtp://www.ohtic.com/products/update/peg2.exe

    Opaida.

Does anyone get popups on a process that is already in the trusted list? It sometimes happens to me.(Process Explorer, as an example, needed to be trusted again)
    PEG.jpg

Also on another image I don't get any popup on a process that is not in the trusted list. o_O

I do check the presence of the trusted process when you add it from trusted processes window, but I don't check that when you add it from popup.. I'll fix that and update.

    License update!

    Hi,
After complaints about what I wrote in the EULA:

I decided to change that line to be as the following:

So, the license now is LIFETIME and UNLIMITED computers.

    Opaida.

I recently installed trial version for testing and am having a problem. When I select "Edit trusted processes", a UAC prompt comes up. When I confirm it, nothing else happens. I presume an editing box of some kind is supposed to pop up, but nothing opens. I temp disabled my other security programs, but still see the error. I'm running Win 7 Ultimate 32-bit. Has anyone else seen this bug?
