Does that mean you are paying customer #1? ;)

Is the license for PEG2 lifetime?

Cool. Do you know what the license period is? Lifetime or other?

    Bug fix.

    Hi,
There was a bug in the updating engine of PEG2, so PEG2 will not update itself automatically.

I've fixed the bug (you must reinstall :ouch: ).

And yes, the license is lifetime license.

    @BladeRunner
    THX for your trust :)

    Re: Bug fix.

@opaida: Thanks for making the lifetime license.
One request. Will you please keep the last freeware version v1.2 in your website?

please tell us more about the option "let pe guard choose "
in what based the detection and how safe is to enable this mode to have less pop ups

It is based on checking digitalsignature of the process file, If the processs has a valid digital signature it will be allowed.
(but there is some exceptions, e.g. windows\system\copy.exe it isn't allowed).
The exe file that these allowed processes access will be logged in the log file.
Trusted processes will not be logged.

In the installation if you choose "advanced configurations" this option (let pe guard choose) will be disabled.

Safeness of this option: This option is great in lessening popups.
But it's risky if you don't know what processes you have in your computer.
Also it's possible to a avlid process to access files on behalf of malicious process. (like malicious process injects dll file in a valid process).

Thinking of buying praram but the purchasing function is not available for now - hopefully soon. Also, could you place a link in signature so that your prgram location can be seen often by us and thank you. Hope placing a link fo rpaid program in sig is not against policy of forum but if so, please disregard. Thanks for your great work.

Thanks much and good luck. If I buy, do I just install trial and wait for key?

Also, is there any conflict with running this alongside of Microsoft Security Essentials and thanks.

Download it and test, It'shouldn't conflict...
    but download it before buying.
and later when you buy it, the site will send you registering information to your email. (you don't need to install it again).

Also, I wrote this in EULA:
So don't worry if it didn't work :).

I don't know what I did wrong in this particular snapshot...
but the install has gone off the rails. I keep getting "couldn't find the service popup, etc"

I tried the repair and it makes no difference. See screenshots.

for "Couldn't find the service, do..." error:
    - I'think that happened because you was running the beta version. To fix this:
    - from cmd.exe: go to PEG2.exe folder, and then type: peg2.exe delete.
    - you should see "deleted successfully message".
    - run PEG2.exe again.

for the installation problem, I don't know why this occurred.
Maybe you can fix this by downloading the installation again .. dont know!

put these commands(you must be administrator):
    - > net stop peg2
    - > sc delete peg2

    then run PEG again.

    That worked!

    Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]
    (C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp.

    C:\Documents and Settings\<myname>net stop peg2

The PEG2 service was stopped successfully.

    C:\Documents and Settings\<myname>sc delete peg2
    [SC] DeleteService SUCCESS
