PC-Cillin 2006

Hi All,

Any suggestions about how to deal with an FP from PC-Cillin. Each scan finds "Spyw_getmirar.a", for sure its an FP. PC-Cillin flags it & says it cannot be removed, or deleted. Also excluding it does not work. PC-cillin finds in the registry ...zonemap\domains "net-nucleus.com (4)." Note the (4) says that net-nucleus.com belongs in the restricted zone. Net-nucleus.com was added by IE-Spyad. Net-nucleus.com is being reported (PC-Cillin scan) as spyw_getmirar.a.

Trend Micro support says to just ignore it, & agrees its an FP. They even had me do a, highjack this, that went well.

Kind of looking for a hack which would have "spyw_getmirar.a" be a no show on future scans

maybe the next trend micro update wil resolve this since you already contacted support
