Sounds like some seriously bad stuff. I have stopped using Paypal a while ago.

I am paying close attention. I have virtually no choice but to use Paypal here. I monitor the CC used on my Paypal account and any transactions get text'd to me instantly (by my bank). The bank has assured me that ANY transaction I contest will be charged backed instantly outside of any input from Paypal. 25+ year customer there. This card is ONLY used for Paypal and nothing else ever. The first time I see even one issue I will close it all down. Man would that be inconvenient for me though! I want to switch over exclusively to Google Pay but lots of sites don't have it setup yet. Passing an e-token is much safer than having a credit card in Paypal's hands. I feel much better about Google's security (not privacy by any means) and e-tokens is a much better method. No one is getting into my Google stuff without an authenticated Yubi key.
