Patch Tuesday F.Y.I

Just a heads up to all our security conscious brethren here.Microsoft Patch Tuesday falls this month on Valentines Day Feb 14.Probably more important for those of you who dont have the update settings set at recommended.Might as well use tuesday as an opportunity to make sure your other applications like Java,Adobe Flash,Reader,Air,Shockwave,other browsers(Chrome(17),Firefox(10),)etc..are all up to date with the latest updates as well.Probably not a bad time to do your p.c maint..temp file,reg main,defrag.etc.Have a great weekend!

lol.very true.Would not want to hear it for the rest of my life.Besides,updates and maintenance for me only take a few minutes.Took off from work this year for the holiday.Wife calls the shots for the whole day

 

Nothing new it happens every month on the 2nd Tuesday and non critical updates on the 4th Tuesday, the only thing I don't agree with is the use of Registry Cleaners as they can do more damage than good! And your Girlfriend, Boyfriend or Spouse comes first everyday just not on the 14th of February!

True,nothing new,for you,for me and a few others.But,the average person that visits these forums with problems is a novice at best,and as such thought this subject pertinent

 

They better have this as the release date for Microsoft Security Essentials 4...or they are taking way too much time with this imo...

 

I just don't know why this subject is in the Prevx forum as it has nothing to do with it or WSA so that being Off Topic! And why should we be concerned about MSE v4? Com'on guys think about it?
