I don't write checks. In fact I shredded all my checks many years ago. It's been so long since I wrote a check I forgot how to fill one out.
I picked up Sticky Password Manager for the lifetime deal of $30. It has a nice two factor authorization. It can use google authenticator app on your phone. If you for some reason cannot use your phone you can have a code sent to the email address on file. The desktop program works great. One click and it opens the link and logs in all for you. No more clicking is needed after the initial click. When in the app you need to pick one of your browsers and add the add on so it can work with the browser. Otherwise you have to copy and paste info. I normally use Bitwarden. But I am perfectly happy with Sticky for desktop. You can tell it to only save your info locally, share only via wifi to sync up with maybe your cell phone, or tell it to save to the cloud. When you have it unlocked and minimized it shows an icon in the lower right toolbar. You can right click it and see logins. Click one and it opens up perfectly. I do not really like the phone app though. But for WIndows Desktop it's perfect. No linux support at this time.
Lastpass "major outage" – appears to impact users with accounts dating back to 2014 and earlier LastPass stores passwords so securely, not even its users can access them January 20, 2020 https://www.theregister.co.uk/2020/01/20/lastpass_outage/
This incident and multiple security problems in the past (search here for Lastpass) confirm that my decision to switch to KeePass some years ago was the right one. Since then I had been using KeePassXC for a long time (which is definitely a great choice and improving more and more). However, recently I went back to KeePass as it's more flexible after all because of the many plug-ins available and its trigger system which, e.g., makes it easy to synchronize the database with other devices.

There is one thing that I don't understand about 1Password. You can download both an app or the browser extension, but does this mean that the app can also integrate into the browser, without the help of any extension? Does this mean that it works like some kind of browser plugin? https://1password.com/downloads/windows/
Does anyone use KeepassXC along with its browser extension? I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion about how secure it is using the extension.
‘1Password’ App Coming To Linux, Initial Release Available For Download August 5, 2020 https://fossbytes.com/1password-linux-development-preview-releases/
My main PM is LastPass. However, it doesn't perform well on my android, it somehow fails to fill apps. Whatever permissions I gave to LP, all is of no avail. Google PM performs there impeccably, so I trusted some pws to it. As I see, unlike previous versions of Chrome, you cannot just open the page with saved pws on PC, now they are covered under windows pw.

In latest news, 1Password has started to work together with privacy.com, I must say that virtual cards sound like an interesting solution to creditcard fraud. And Bitwarden has a possible security hole which involves its auto-updating feature. https://blog.1password.com/privacy-virtual-cards/ https://www.techradar.com/news/popular-password-manager-could-have-a-critical-vulnerability
