I use enpass for mobile (android) and its great.I like that you can use your own browser or a basic enpass browser. On windows desktop however i find the lack of browser extensions..only 4 supported is a problem.I use palemoon and would have expected that to be supported as its nearly firefox ,but no support.

    Have you tried this?

Tools > Settings > Browser > uncheck Verify Browsers.

That allowed me to use Enpass in Cyberfox.

I haven't used it much in Chrome but it seems to work so far.

I have installed Enpass on all three of my machines now and I have another which fo some reason I cannot enable 'Autorun on system startup'. I have contacted their support an am waiting to hear back. It seems like it is still a beta at this stage.

Why do you need 'Autorun on system startup'.

Thanks for the feedback Krusty. I hope to get some time over the weekend to check it out.

So I don't have to manually start it because I can't start it from the browser extension. Enpass needs to be running before it syncs with the browser extensions.
You're welcome, Trooper. Let us know how you get on.

Enpass sounds good, but what if you don't have access to any of your machines? OK, more realistically, I don't see a compelling reason to switch yet.

    It's great.
I have never been completely happy with other password managers in the past.

Okay. I've never had that box checked. I'll launch Enpass > Sign In and Enpass works in Firefox and Chrome. Enpass Free 5.5.7. Guess, I don't sync. Thanks

I don't sync online but I get a connection error unless I start Enpass first. Maybe just a glitch.

I'm using 5.5.8 which I've just downloaded by the way.

Thanks Krusty. I think you need to use Firefox to export your Lastpass database correct?

Hmm....start Enpass first? I run Enpass same as KeePass. I'll launch Enpass client & Sign In. KeePass is my primary. I keep Enpass, as just-in-case backup. Thanks

Nope! I signed into the LastPass website and exported the data to a text file in notepad, then imported into Enpass.

Awesome did just that! Ok, so it looks like you have to unlock the Windows app in order for the Chrome browser extension to get your password? Also, is there no "auto fill" like Lastpass has?

I think you need to start the Windows application first but you should be able to open your vault from Chrome... I think.

The only way I can get it to auto-fill is by double clicking on the login in the extension.

Thanks Krusty. My app was started but it seemed to not want to log in right away. I think I got it sorted now.

I am missing the auto-fill from Lastpass however. I also found that is the only way to get it to auto fill.

On another note, I have also heard some good things about Bitwarden. https://bitwarden.com/

Anyone else here at Wilders ever try them?

Now, I remember. 764.png Yeah, I start Enpass client before using extension. Sorry, I forgot about Connection Error because I launch Enpass like KeePass. KeePass by design does not integrate itself into browsers.

In both the FF and Chrome extension in 'Options' it suggests to create a shortcut. I don't know what that does but maybe that is another way to auto-fill. I've only been playing with Enpass for a few hours.

Will check that out. I have been messing with it for less than an hour so you are a little ahead of me. :)

I want to check out their Android app now as well. :thumb:

Not sure why people want to move away from LastPass. The free version is still available and supports multi-factor authentication. The only significant feature that has been removed from the free version of LP is sync across devices. I'm not seeing anything about 2FA in Enpass.

Sync across devices is a show stopper for me.
