PARTITION SIZE

    Hi.
    I purchased DDS 10.0
    Today i'm running DDS 9.0 and Os selector it's installed on the same partition of windows, so i have a lot of troubles for the known defrag problem.
    I wish to install a fresh new DDS 10 suite, but i would like to know which size i need to put all OsSelector and rescue files in a separate hidden partition.

    Thank you for your interest in Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

    Please be aware that Acronis OS Selector always installs to the same location where Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0 installed.

    The minimal size of special hidden partition for Acronis OS Selector installation is 50 Mb.

    First, thanks for the quick reply.
    Well, another question is: may i install the whole package in the special hidden partition ( i mean disk director plus OS Selector)?
    And if the answer it's yes, what is the correct size ?
    Finally : i saw in some thread people have problems upgrading from 9 to 10 because of the serial number.
    As i want to completly uninstall 9 and then install 10, may i expect any trouble or there is a specific registry entry to delete before installing version 10?

    I'm afraid that it is not possible to install Acronis Disk Director Suite in a hidden partition.

    Please submit a request for technical support.
    We will provide you with the solution regarding the upgrade.
