I am wondering if the Paragon Backup products preserve partition alignment when restoring an entire drive or just a partition. It is a requirement for SSD's to have a certain partition alignment in order to not stutter, cough, etc...

If the partition is backed up with the proper alignment, is there a Paragon product that is known to preserve that alignment that upon restore?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I believe an image you have created will restore identically. If you restore an image of the SSD back to the same ssd - it will be the same. If you restore an image that was made of a different partition - then the alignment will reflect that source partition. Should work fine if it's Vista/7 created partition.

Give it a go and see.
