Paragon Drive Backup 9.0 and Windows 7, after restart i get only points on the screen

    Hello together,

    I try to make a backup with pdb 9.0 from my Windows 7 Home Premium Version, Partition c:/, the MBR and the systemrecovery partition.

    The program demand to start the computer new. After a reboot i get only points at the screen (....)

    When i restart again, i get a new entry:

    drive 0: primary 00 Win Vista System-res (i can start windows here)
    primary 01 linux (when i start i get only points (...)




    perhaps anybody can help, thanks

    Depending on what version of Drive Backup 9.0 you have, not till recently, Drive Backup was not compatible with Windows 7. Secondly, I'm not sure where that Linux boot record came from. We can first try updating the MBR, but you need Backup & Recovery. Download and install here: http://www.paragon-software.com/home/db-express/index.html

    Right-click your "Basic Hard Disk 0" and "Update MBR"

    My Version is 9.0 build 5789 (28.06.0:cool: Server Edition.

    I thought i had read that the version was kompatibel with win 7.


    ok i try it with the 10 Version, thanxs for your help.
