Paragon Backup 8.51 stopped completing

I have been using Paragon Disk Backup 8.51 on my Vista laptop for years without a problem. Suddenly, whenever I try to backup, exactly 23 minutes before completion I get a "Operation Failed" message with
Error code 0x1200e....source Hard Disk Manager. I ran chkdisk /f on both my laptop hard drive as well as my 500 gb external backup drive. No problems found. I have turned both 'Virtual Disk' and 'Volume Shadow Copy' in windows services to start automatically. Never had this problem before and cannot figure out what is going on. Any help greatly appreciated!

 

Try doing the backup from a Paragon boot disk, preferably a WinPE disk. Try another backup program. Do further disks diagnostics, using the manufacturer´s programs.
