Does it help if I manually run a quick scan?

Was it a suspicious/PUP detection or a specific malware detection?
Is the file still in the IE temp folder or are you only seeing it in the report?

One last thing for now... what's the status on AppSetup.exe? It's been detected since initial release I believe, and it's detected as the Virtumonde trojan.

I thought that was fixed. Can you send me an MD5 and/or the file itself to see what happened?

Something pretty cool... with PCAV and Returnil instead of COMODO (Sandbox only), my browsing seems to be much much snappier. :D

Hehe, that's weird... considering that would mean pretty many different AppSetup.exes

If I use PCAV again I'll get it from the specific dir and not just a guess-dir.

I'm curious with this setup. Does PCAV store any dynamic files (ie signatures, logs) on the user's computer? What's the minimum internet speed required for optimal performance of PCAV?

    Ty.

Yes it stores some signatures for offline mode as well as logs in the Windows Event Viewer. Also you can activate advanced logging into any folder of your choosing.

Regarding bandwidth, it only transfers about 120kb of data per day on average, so even with very slow internet connectivity it should be enough.

Quick question and I hope this wasn't already asked before, but can this be run with other traditional antivirus software? I have Norton Internet Security and Prevx running.

It should also be noted that conflicts can occur since it's classified as a regular AV application. You've been warned... :cautious:

After scanning there should be a report:

    0 Viruses found
    0 Worms found
    0 Trojans found
    0 Spyware found
    0 Adware found
    0 Dialers found
    0 Jokes found
    0 Others found

"The scan has been finished" is not enough

Ok, the no notification thing is being worked on. I think it will be fixed in the next version. It was coded that way so it will stay out of your way but I have not seen anyone that's no on this forum saying they wanted it changed. Yes many of here are advance users and want to be alerted but others that don't know much about security don't want to be alerted.

Where is the file when it can't be found in the recycle bin? :doubt: Do you mean I can restore the file with my own backup tool? :D

No, you click on the "Not finding what you're looking for?" text up to the right to view overall history. This is also described in a posting.

The "high risk" files too? :doubt: I will try Panda again when the delete notification for all files can be enabled

As Raven said, you can find the files by clicking on "Not finding what you're looking for?".

No need to panic, easy to find and restore. Keep in mind, Panda isn't going to automatically delete your average users' files, which are common files. Us Wilders users, many with not so common software, maybe, but you can restore these easily.

:) OK - let's give the cute Panda another chance :D

When will Beta 1.1 be available? :doubt:
