Has anyone bought a copy of Pro?

I'd like to hear how it's working for you?

Panda Cloud Pro has behavior blocking so would Spy Shelter free and it's HIPS bring any possible problems. The Antilogger component is mostly what I would like...

If you want only the Antilogger to can use keyscrambler.
Anyway SS and Panda togethe will not give you any problem

I haven't tested that specific combo but I'd bet you're not going to have any major problems. Regarding the behaviour blocker of PCAV is very specific to certain actions, more details here:

Thanks for the replies guest & PBust. I may just go with Keyscrambler personal since it's good with Firefox (my default) and IE8. Spyshelter is a good comprehensive freebie though...hmmm:eek: :shifty: :)

The pro version will automatically update to the newest version, the free will give you a pop up, and I think both will install hotfixes but I am not 100% sure on the last one.

Pbust - I assume the pop-up allows the user to click to a website where you have to download the .exe file to upgrade? This really defeats the purpose in my opinion for the grannies and those who don't care too much about updating or upgrading. Avast's updates and upgrades are flawless and it should be that way to be competitive.

How about a Pre-Pro version with automatic upgrades that's cheaper than the Pro version?

Speaking of the Pro version, how about at least a 3-user with the current single pricing or maybe better? Like what trjam mentioned, Immunet has got in down. It's now a matter of time.

Its a small file that I think will download the Web installer. This web installer will automatically uninstall the old version and reinstall the new version. Pricing is being looked into, that is the last thing I heard though.

We got some interesting developments in the pipeline for next versions regarding these issues (auto-installs, pricing, etc.) as well as some expected fixes (notifications, recycle bin, etc.). Don't ask for timing yet but it'll be soon.

pbust, how about an option to exclude network shares? As a test I installed pcav (free as a test) 1.1 on a Win 7 x64 workstation at an office and it caused one particular app (creative bookkeeping solutions) that runs from the server to open twice as slow. It already takes about 20 seconds to load on a workstation as it is, and once pcav was disabled everything was back to normal.

I installed Symantec Endpoint 11.5 (unmanaged) and it did not affect load times.

Have you tried excluding the network share from the on-access scanner?

I see no option under Advanced settings > Exclusions. Where else would I look?

That's it, advanced settings -> exclusions -> add -> choose the directory

No server paths are listed, and there is no option to manually add a path such as \\server\data\*

Canadian prices in the PCAV store have been fixed.

They were wrong based on € pricing instead of $ pricing.

Sorry for not clarifying, but I do not see any of the mapped drives listed as an option. Is this a bug or possible feature upgrade? I know in Avast I can exclude a server path which is very convenient.
