I guess it's not as easy as you believe It's not something you can fix like a faulty source code ...

 

i checked it yesterday and no latest report and today yes its available to download nice job done by panda

 

Actually the new AV-C report (Proactive/Retrospective Test) shows the same FPs from the February report (On-Demand Test). These are not *new* FPs. All of these have been fixed already.

With PCAV 1.1 we've introduced some new techniques to prevent some of these FPs, so future test should proof much better results.

I'm not sure, but it says so at the end of page 7:

"The false alarm test results were already included in the rest report Nr. 25."

If you compare both you can see the FP results are the same in the Feb2010 and May2010 reports.

"This test report is the second part of the February 2010 test" -> same product, same defs, of course same FPs. It just the second part of a test which evaluates/compares a specific part of the same products that were tested in February.

I'm fairly new to the board and I have run a scan and am very impressed pbust and the panda team have done a great job so fat but I do have a question.

In the free version on page 5, it was mentioned about there wouldn't be an auto update per se, which I can understand that id for the paid version. When I looked though through the program, (and granted I couldn't see it, but is there a way to tell which version your running and what version of the definitions since it's "in the clouds"? I am just a tad confused.

 

Yes if you open the GUI and click on the "?" on the upper right, and then "About" it will tell you the version. If you have something prior to 1.1 you will see (in the next few days & weeks) a notification with a link to download the latest version (1.1).

 

Pretty old data and old versions of AV's.

Matt also said in the review that if someone from Panda (pbust maybe) could give him a 2 week key for the Pro version he could probably review the Pro too

I try to reinstall my panda cloudantivirus pro and say that my code cannot be used but pc its the same.. why?

"no more licenses. this code has already been used to protect another computer.."

 

I answered you on the forum, it should work being that you are installing it on the same machine but it seems there is a problem I emailed panda and asked them to get back to you. Sorry another person not the same one... sems to be a issue when you uninstall and try to reinstall it now on same computer with the key, I have emailed panda.
