Can you give some kind of roadmap for the 2.0 release?
    For example:
    1. when can we expect a new beta release?
    2. when can we expect to see the new GUI?
    3. when can we expect the final release?

Okay, I do fully understand. Let me put it another way.

After version 1.5, are you guys planning to release another major update (so not fixing bugs which might come to the surface ofcourse) prior to 2.0?

    Dear pbust,

It would be very convenient to be able to disable PCAV temporarily. Some other AVs allow this and I've found times when it helped install known clean programs. At present, I cannot find a realtime guard disable in PCAV 1.4.

By the way, thanks and kudos for a great free cloud based antivirus.

You mean differently than right-clicking on the traybar and selecting "Stop antivirus"?

LOL !!! Now, why didn't I think of that? Thanks pbust.

I wonder what other secrets PCAV holds. I'm gonna right-click everything from now on.

Embarrassed and happy at the same time,

No problem, I thought you meant something different such as completely stopping the service. You can do that from an admin account with a "net stop nanoservicemain" command.

I hope there will be a firewall free version as some people like the firewalls they have.

That will not happen. PRO only. There would be conflict with Panda Antivirus PRO (which includes a firewall).

Can a mod please delete the last post by jason? It was an unauthorized access to non-public code.

    EDIT: Thanks!

Sorry but I don't understand. Do you mean PCAV Pro?

Sorry, here is a better understanding. :)

That will (most likely) not happen. The firewall is for PCAV PRO only. If a firewall was placed in the free version, there will be conflict with PAV PRO since it also includes a firewall.

Ok thanks. A question for pbust. So if I am installing PCAV Pro and it detects that I am using a firewall already, what happens next? Will I (A) have to remove the firewall already in place or (B) have the option to not install the firewall component? I know I'm getting ahead of myself as it's (2.0) not released yet but I thought I better ask.

A good question as I have Look N Stop right now. I asked about this about a month ago in Panda forums and don't remember ever getting a clear answer.

    Thanks

My top choice was sandbox and then I meant an auto-sandbox.

How about a little pop up to say synchronization has taken place?
