What's the concern about the toolbar?

W7 64-Bit Security Center does not detect AV and Spyware protection at all. Previous version worked fine. Does not look good. :ninja:

    Perform the instructions here :http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN367

If your problem is caused by corrupted WMI , then it will get fixed

    Hi:

Can I save the license for later and use at anytime? Right now I am using AVG antivirus pro that I got from the August 2010 giveaway and my AVG license is valid until August 2011. So can I save my panda cloud antivirus pro license for later? If it has a time limit please tell me exactly how long I can store it before activating it. Thanks for your answers.

Hi you should install Comodo firewall first and then you install Panda.

Then you should go to Defense+ Tab, then Defense+ Settings, then Execution Control Settings, then Exclusions, then add the whole Panda Security folder to the list.

This seems to solve the conflict for some people.

    Regards

    Hi:
Here is the video test of this latest panda cloud antivirus 1.3 and it does not look good. It has failed badly in malware testing.

    Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uBsIH3jds8

But the good news is this other test of panda cloud antivirus plus comodo firewall & Defense plus combination has a great result since comodo blocked all the malwares panda cloud let through. SO if using panda cloud antivirus then use comodo with it for complete protection.

    Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLQ1GblDbNE

Anyway I think I stick with my current AVG pro plus comodo.

You don't need a YouTube video to prove you that Panda's protection is no protection and high resourses . So far I haven't seen a video or a case where Panda deals with the malware as it should . But their marketing is great!

I don't understand what is all this "party" here about - so many posts thanking Panda and Cnet for ... let me think ... nothing .They add new feautures , they add new processes => higher resourses but practially Panda Cloud's protection is poor.
It is all just marketing . Panda icons all around and fake sense of security for about 30 $

Additionally , have you noticed how many times Panda showed an error even before the Lan Guy started to run malware - about antiphishing.

Completely disagree with you.. Panda is doing good in various Independent tests and you cannot disagree with that. I won't comment about Languy's testing because neither HE nor YOU & ME are from any reputed testing labs.

On starting up this morning I had a pop-up saying that Panda anti-phishing has stopped working.
I think perhaps it did not install properly as there was a hang on install which seemed to correct itself after a while.
Using W7 Home Premium 64 bit with W7 firewall control.
    ?

Just done a re-start with W7 Firewall off and get the same message.
    Here is the error code.
    "Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BEX
    Application Name: panda2_0dn.exe
    Application Version: 1.0.0.57

    LATER!
I've just done a repair installation with W7 Firewall & control off and the fault is there again.

    More LATER!
Following the advice for a related problem with the phishing filter , on the Panda help forum, I have un-installed the URL filter and that seems to have done the trick.
(BTW - I'm using Clear Cloud DNS - would that have been a possible cause?)

I am running good with my present setup (see sig). Can I replace Immunet Pro with Panda Pro without any conflicts?

Regardless of PCA 1.3's effectiveness, is it significant that languy99's VM installation consistently reported no internet connection?

This time I had to uninstall AND reinstall Panda. That fixed my problem. Thanks for the nice tip though. :)

Now due to my slow internet speed I had to skip to the malware testing but I think I saw the Anti-Phishing/URL Guard had an error when he first installed and was not running. I wonder how that could have changed things.
