I had the exact same experience. Went back to Roboscan.

 

How about the wide presence of localisations like found with the 1.5.2 version? Looking at unpacked installer files it seems only English/German/Spanish are available.

I'm actually using PrivateFirewall but had the same experience. My system froze up the first 3 boots after installing Panda 2.0 and after it finally ran each time the cpu spikes were extended and intolerable. I had been running Panda 1.52 just before with no problems (I did a complete uninstall of 1.52 before installing 2.0).

 

i just tried it and it seemed a lot heavier than v1.5.2...my pc simply freezes when it finds some .ese`s...

 

I wonder if the pro licenses are already gone? Can't find anything about the offer there now.

 

On the left side of the page there's a "Special Offer" with the bear's head bellow and a link bellow that.

 

Ah, got it now, thanks! I was using firefox with heavy filtering - needed to switch to IE so I could see the link.

 

I was able to get a pro license through CNET, but I'm wondering...how long do we have to activate our license.

 

So,it's not Comodo the issue...maybe they'll do something about it,as i have the feeling that these cases will multiply.

YEP, I wanted all the colors in the feather. But who cares, it works well and that is really all that matters.

 

For those if you with conflicts with other third-party firewalls, have you tried disabling or uninstalling either or? There really is no point in running two separate firewalls at the same time and it is asking for trouble. If you want to keep your existing firewall, try disabling the Panda firewall from the GUI and rebooting to see if that makes a difference.

To confirm, you can...

Click the gear icon in PCAV, then About Panda Cloud Antivirus, you'll see how long the pro license is valid for. You should see the expiration date next to License type

 

the scanning is alot faster than version 1.5. very nice
