Pakistan's plan for the "coldblooded murder of the Internet" ~ ars technica

Yes, isolation & obscurantism ... what a way to go ...

"The only freedom which deserves the name is that of pursuing our own good, in our own way, so long as we do not attempt to deprive others of theirs, or impede their efforts to obtain it."

There is a difference between censorship & obscurantism. You just can't turn the clock back to the 7th Century, no matter how hard you try, reality will always find a way in.

Lol, grow your bandwidth by 50% each year, and destroy the internet, cute. This crap will be bypassed, like every other measure that's been put into place anywhere.

I think that you underestimate Pakistan's ability, & desperate need, not to be culturally contaminated by most of the rest of the known world, & for it to remain ideologically isolated in the medieval era.

This topic would fit well in a political forum which we are not.
