Unfortunately it didn't work but what the hell - the more I practise using super blade pro etc - the quicker I will get! It's good for me! Many thanks for your help and I love the photofiltre examples *puppy*

Hey, you're welcome Harnser.:) this is a bit disapointing
that the filter did not work after retrieving more dlls though....
It might depends of many things...for instance, your OS and
the graphic program you are currently using with...Sometimes
just downloading a new update will solve it. I do have some filters
here that work only with Photoshop and not with Paint Shop
Pro. Maybe because each program also have their own dlls
    implimented in it too.

Yes, Super Blade Pro is GREAT!
I sometimes use it for letters and frame bevels.;)

There is no direct link to the download page
unfortunately...but if you follow the steps I gave in
poat # 2246, you wil be able to retrieve them all right.

also what Eldar said is right too;)

There are other things they give for free
    they produce interesting effects too.

Right on!!!:D And what about this another freeware
    made by Right Hemisphere?

    http://www.righthemisphere.com/products/dp3d/Deep3D_UV/index.htm

It works as a plugin or a stand alone application.;)
You can use it with 3ds max, Maya, Softimage,
    Lightwave, Dream Suite, Photoshop....

I haven't tried it yet but read positive comments about it.

one thing though...the more filters you have
installed the longer it will take for the program to
    start up.....:doubt:

...A tutorial I did recently with Photofiltre. It consists of applying
an ink effect to a picture to make it look like a cartoon......

    Hello Everyone!

I'm back, but just for a moment. I like that 3D stuff, I'll have to try that myself!

Brad, That was a pretty good color adjustment on Elizebeth, but it didn't help me very much. If I can't get a good result quickly, I normally just don't use it since some pictures just don't lacquer very well. This is my best effort, but knowing me, I will probably try again later...BTW, those annoying white speckles (I find annoying) are from the slider marked "glitter". My preference is to keep it set at zero.

Yeah Mac thanks, I'm slowly getting the hang of it. The other one that annoys me is 'prism'..it leaves some specks too.
I used 'lacquer' over here to try and make this leg look real after I painted it 'from scratch'....

    Hi Brad-

Sorry if I am telling you stuff you already know. I have to hear something 100 times before I remember it, so that is why. Glitter does have limited usefulness, though. Sometimes if the image is too dark it helps. Sometimes if the image is something that really is supposed to sparkle its good. Prism I use even less. There are rare instances where just a tiny amount increases the depth, but thats not often.

Your leg-butt picture was ingenius. You may recall my reaction to animation, but I can appreciate the idea and the images were very good. send me your url were your picts are at so I can check them out.

Oh as promised (or maybe threatened) here is the latest version of metal girl!

Not to be immodest or anything by my picture in 2282 is starting to grow on me. I sure didn't think much of it at the time! Anyway, here is my conception of space flowers!

    Hi everyone!

Uguel, Have you tried my little trick yet? Here is a pretty elaborate one I did. I will post a 240x240 pix image, but it looks much better at its original size. In fact, I am trying to transition to bigger pictures.

Re: Paint Shop Pro & PhotoFiltre Talk

Can any of you clever folk help me please. I have been trying to find out a way of "bending" an image in PSP. I have tried using mesh warp and although I can sort of achieve a poor lookeelikee it isn't as good as the one achieved in this photoshop tutorial: http://www.escrappers.com/distort1.html

If anyone has any ideas or tips I would be very grateful.

    Cheers,

    Sally

    Hi Sally,
You can use several distortions inside PSP.
Under Effects > Distortion Effects, you'll find a lot of effects, include the Warp efffect. :)
Or you can use a plugin, like Almathera or some other freebees.

Also under Effects you'll find the Geometric Effects.
A bit of trial and error to translate that tutorial to PSP.

    Give it a try. ;)
