Hey Sonya, I looked in Photofiltres and I did not find the grid generator
can you tell me where it is plizzzzz?:)

    -------------------------------------------

Designers in europe are already clammering for the source of this material. Not only is this all-natural, water repelling material very chic and stylish. Calvin Klein and others are planning to tout its ability to hermetically seal potential attackers in a coccon like package until police can arrive as a gimmick to appeal to harried urban females residing or working in high crime areas.

Brrrrrrr, I hope we won't come to that extent here in America.

Actually I made the grid first and put the animations over it, but now I see the pumpkins and ghosts, & the skull looks like it's under the grid o_O It must be an illusion :D

    Hi everyone,

Still likin that shiny canoe you did a while back. Very smooth texture :) .

I have been trying to organize my fonts. It is my third or forth attempt. I really do not accept the solution that some people practice. Namely to have thousands of fonts on cds and then install them when needed. This is what my sister does. She also keeps a binder full of samples to help her select them. This has its advantages, but I don't really feel like printing out a billion samples. I use ATM. Adobe Type Master Deluxe. My latest lesson was that my really old 4.1 version doesnt work right unless you install the small patch from adobe's website. My other little mistake was that with ATM you will suffer an unpredictable fate if you install PS fonts and TT fonts with "exactly the same name"***. Don't ask me how they can be considered exactly the same when the file extensions are different. Other than That ATM Deluxe is about 1000 times better than xp's built in font handler (which is actually a stripped down built in version of ATM I read somewhere). Are Fonts art, or are they just letters?

Anyway, ATM-D 4.1, theoretically is a for pay program. In practice it's free for most people due to the fact that it is included in so much software. Anyone with lots of fonts probably has many copies of it. don't forget the update.

There is a story behind the next picture, but you don't want to know. The font is in plain english, sorry if you cant read it! The font is called courthand and it is of a type that I like a lot.

***I meant to add this is exactly the way many fonts come. thanks alot font makers!

That's very interesting and I love the effect.

I guess I should say something about the other the second and third pictures while I'm at it. I like the second one alot. the third one I like too. I wonder how hard it would be to block the grid effect over the girl so il look like she was, er popping out...of the picture...you know what I mean.

P.S. - What is the umbrella looking thing in the background of the second and third pictures? I thought it might be a light reflecting umbrella that you see photographers use when they are taking portraits...but it is not in the original. Where did it come from? Is this the same one that you used before right around when we were playing with Hue and Cry?

It just sort of came out when using the plastic wrap filter (and yes it was the same one that I was using with those hue and cry pics)....

Here's that 'umbrella' thing in the background again. I made this one from scratch and applied the same 'plastic wrap' filter.

You ever see something like this where it looks like your plugin x-rays what you are working on. Just an illusion, I guess....

    Hi -

don't feel bad, I couldn't read it if I didn't know what it said (Flaming Pear / HandsOff!). Anyways, in both of the last two it is Lacquer. I've been trying to learn it through trial and error. It's one of my all time favorites. The plastic wrap filter's effect looks very similar. I'll have to try it to see if the controls are similar.

Well, no one guessed, probably too shy, but yesterday's mystery guest was Uguel. Well, Uguel's avatar. Well, former avatar. Which is pretty cool, and I have done all too many pictures of it, including....using Flaming Pear - Silver

Now we already got a nice Autumn picture but we're going
to make it even more nicer.

    3. Go to the Layer Palette. Put your cursor on your layer,
right click and duplicate your layer. We will apply a Gaussian
    Blur on that layer...

4.Go to the Menu > Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur, set it to 2,0, click OK

    5. Return to your Layers Palette. Reduce the opacity of that layer to 50 %
then where you see "Normal" click on it and scroll down and set it to Soft light.

    The render will be softer.

Save your image as a .jpg

    here is what I got....
