Lol, you make me blush Sonya!!!
thanks a lot, I am glad that you're improving
all the time. Keep on trying new tutorials, that's the best
way to learn PSP. Even if some of them don't turn out the
exactly the way you expected, do not forget that they
always bring you a new bit of knowledge each time and more
experience with PSP. Learning is fun. The day I will know
PSP at the tip of my fingers, I won't have so much fun anymore.:doubt:

M - I don't think you can get too carried away with lightning
    - Scientists explain lots of things but all they can say when the
impossible happens is "coincidence". I wouldn't mind it if they backed
this up with numerical proof. Instead they rely on the fact that we
probably have no way of showing the odds---they're the mathmaticians.

I had an effect that I though would look scary. It's pretty subtle. They use "perspective filters to correct dimensions of things. like the top of a sky scraper looks less wide than the base when you are close the building and on the ground. Then I thought, maybe I can make someone look on the ground the same way. it sort of worked - the girl is really standing up in the original picture.

Ooops! I think it worked before i edited it to death. maybe I can find an old version i havent deleted yet

okay, see if you can picture her on a dock, or boat, in a supine position. I tried to disguise the other one. this one is far less disguised. It is the same picture that the sonia morph, and girl tearing out of a dog suit used for the starting point. Did you recognizer her? I knew the lips would be a dead giveaway so i changed them alot in the first (overwrought) picture. Did I fool anyone?

OK, just so you don't miss out, here are a copy earlier results using the same picture

...of course, they were followed with the demon girl version of this picture. Uguel, I'm not sure if you're teasing me, or not, but of course the effect is flaming pears Lacquer. this picture was originally a pretty small download from the web. i was using it to practice enlargement, then clearing up the artifacts. It is still a central theme for me. i love seeing small bad pictures to practice on. my all time favorite was of bill gates jail picture when he got arrested by some overzealous state troopers when he was a bushy haired youth. I made him look pretty good!

Not at all, I just wanted to know better for I am not very good with lacquer
and have never got the effect like in post #2036:(
For instance see what I did tonight with Lacquer.

...pic no 1, the glue effect was hue

..so as you certainly notice I applied just a bit of an effect in the pic.
When I tried to apply more effect in Lacquer, my pic looked like it was
torn apart in a blender. So, after that, I tried another one, the
    saturation effect in lacquer.....

....that was obtained with the random device effect in Lacquer
and the result was too much yellow in the pic, as you can see.
So I decided to mix both pictures together, the ones in post
#2046 and the one in post# 2047....this is a little bit better
    but nos very glossy yet.:doubt:

    Uguel-

I forgot to mention, you have come with another interesting icon. I like the girl. who is she? can you post her picture? I want to she if I can make her into glass...or at least metal. But I'm divided on if I will gloat or not. Isn't it just a little annoying that plugins most often do not have any instructions? But there are clues. They try to keep you ignorant, but they can't cover all their tracks!

Random is such an excellent idea! Unfortunately, its almost impossible to see any relation to cause and effect. It's the same thing that drives their most famous plug-in. The only plugin from flaming pear that I have not used much. You must have heard of it. Blade Pro! I read a survey of artists and graphics students favorite plug-ins. Blade Pro was number 1. You can do stunning things with it. But it looks hard. Real hard. And yet, if they can do it, why can't we? I think all of flaming pears best plugins use this mysterious quality. they just control it diffent ways. look at this. its just a pattern made with "hue and cry". but it has that lacquery look about it.

Marja is rite, I got them from dafont. I think the names of them are, helloween, and the other bumpkins, but I'm not exactly sure. Just look in the H's :D
The site has almost every font you can think of. Although I am looking for the Hallmark font and I can't find it yet. It's the regular Hallmark font with the crown that's used on the back of Hallmark cards if someone happens to run across it :D but I think it may be copy righted or something o_O
    here's the link
