A dour and depressing film, but with powerful performances by an excellent cast. Including ol' blue eyes again!

Never saw that movie, but if he's playing it can't be bad at all.
    Well done. ;)

Here's my next one. You all surely will know this one, I think. :D
A bit of a violent movie, but nonetheless I liked the story.

A great movie Uguel, and........if my memory serves me correctly, based on a Stephen King short story?

Did you know that this lake wasn't even frozen, nor the landscape.
All done with the computer. See image below. :D
You did a good job there. I'm not that good in correcting images. :doubt:
Can't say that I've seen that movie.
    Good pictures as usual. ;)

Exactly, it was based on Stephen King's short story "The Body".

No, I didn't. But, computers are increasingly used in movies,
I should not be too surprised to learn that. ;)

....I added a watercolour effect filter in this one plus a diffused atmosphere.

LOL! I guess she does!! That scared me when it popped up on the screen!

I am having a really hard time finding movie pics to play with, anyone got any ideas??

Most of the ones I find, have lots of text or they are really small....like 32kb or something?

Also, what movie is that Eldar? I must have missed that one, can't figure out which one it is?

Re: Paint Shop Pro & PhotoFiltre Talk

Eric's movie is "King Arthur". As for finding pics, I've been throwing a few DVDs in the comp and doing screen captures...
Also, M$ Dig Image Pro has some really good cloning tools, etc that allow me to get rid of unwanted text....sometimes. Otherwise, I just Google for largish images. That Van Helsing one was all from Google, even though I have the DVD here somewhere...
    Cheers.

    Hi Marja! :)

I looked back at the pics that you sent and I wanted to ask you
about the filters that you used for the comix strip effect and the neon one?
Did you take PSP integrated filters?...See posts 1281 and 1282
Also, what filter did you use to make the pink one in post #1286?
    ...it is very pretty. :)

Re: Paint Shop Pro & PhotoFiltre Talk

This is what I usually do.... :)

After I open the pic in PSP9, I go to the Tools Palette,
then I take the rectangle selection tool and apply these settings:
    Mode: Replace, Feather:0

I draw a rectangle inside the picture, it can be 25, 30 or
35 pixels large...Once the rectangle is drawn, you go to the Menu> selections> Invert.

Now you will see 2 borders of marching ants inside the pic...
leave it this way, then go to the Menu> Effects> Effect3D>
Inner bevel. I had these settings for the sunrise picture.
    ...see next screenshot ;)
You can customize it the way you want or you can apply the settings I have in my next screenshot then once you are satisfied with the result, you can click on the little
blue icon to save you settings so you will be able to apply them again for another picture.

Then click on ok, go back to your picture,
Go to the menu again> unselect or Select None and save your picture.

Sometimes, I also use Photofiltre for borders.
    It's quick and easy.

    ...these were my settings :)
Notice the blue icon... you can click on it and save your settings
if you are satisfied with the result. To find you settings again.
you open the Inner Bevel window, click on "last used"
and scroll down to "Presets" and then you scroll
down again until you see the one that you want,
    let's say "frame1"
