Re: Paint Shop Pro & PhotoFiltre Talk

    Hi all,

Elder, that horse was way cool! I did not read the text yet, just looked at the picture. Will take a closer look after the sun goes down.

Uguel, if you meant the gel effect, you actually paint with the gel itself. in addition to a brush, you can push it and pull it, and twist it

It's fun when a program lets you feel like you are actually using some paint like substance. A program that i don't have loaded now lets you paint with i tip that mimics a fountain pen. I like fountain pens! when you draw an "O" it gets thick and thin at the apogee and perigee. It really looks like caligraphy.

I never quite got what I wanted with the Jessica picture dispite having at least 50 versions...but I may be closer!

Okay, some of you may be familiar with "Red Glass Folder Icons". They are red glassy looking folders to replace the boring manila folders. I think there are around 70 folders and icons in the set. I have been toying with the idea of making them glassier still! In the example the folder is very glassy and satisfying, but the movie clip looks a little metallic to me. Mine on the bottom attempts to correct this.

Sonya, sorry i did not respond yet, the best thing would be to email me, or post the pictures somewhere because a picture small enough to post here may not have much detail. I will try the test picture though. I have to admit I have never tried to fix one like that, but if anyone can do it, it is the guy who wrote my plugins! I have great faith in him or her.

    your welcome Sonia! :)
Hey, there was stg important missing in the picture
and I just added it. ;) Oh, btw, I could not correct
it with any application filters, neither Picasa or PSP for most
of them are better to correct a pic when there is too much noise, shadow.
or red eyes. I just did it manually with the brush and the filling tool in PSP. :)

I thought so too, so I made it into a tube.
Which sun are you referring to, mine on the picture or yours. :D
Downloaded Axialis, but didn't have time yet to install it. :(
You're really making beautiful icons. I wish I had found that before I made my OutWorld Palm skin with PSP.
I've been playing a bit more with FastStone Image Viewer and I really must say it's an awesome app. Lots of features.

Well done Uguel in correcting that picture. :D
Not much luck in correcting this one too. :doubt:
Don't you have a higher quality picture?

Eldar, that horse picture turned out amazing!! Wonderful!

Thank you also for the dll link and the filter page! Lots of filters I haven't tried yet! :D

Thank you too, Uguel, for all the answers you gave me, they are very appreciated! :D

Sonya! You are getting so good! By leaps and bounds! I think the John Wayne head is a good one! Why not?? lol!

This old church actually looked pretty good, until I got through with it! LOL! It had an Xeno-FX filter called 'crumpled' on it, a wash with the VP filter, burned edges by Alienware (Xeno-FX SP?) and frayed edges by JamaD.

It looks like a service hasn't been held there for awhile, maybe, "Many Sundays Ago."

Actually I can't take much credit for this one! LOL!

I just thought it was a beautiful picture of the rocks in Bryce Canyon, in Utah National Park. Kinda like a giant jewel box, you think?

So, I just played with the photo editor to bring out the jewel tones and added borders.........to give you, "Morning Glow".

It looks even better at 200kb, so I did it again. Or noto_O

    Thanks!

Don't you think it's a trip, how there are actually trees growing out of the rocks on the top??

The whole park is like another planet, really fascinating rock formations - but hot! :) In the summer, anyway!

Thank you very much Marja. If you want the tube, let me know. ;)
You're most welcome. Plenty of free filters to try out.
Hope you did understand the Dutch Page a bit. :doubt:
She's really getting very good at those animations, but she has a great teacher too.
Haven't tried that crumpled filter yet, but it surely does a nice job. It looks like a perkament, but no written words on it. Marvellous job. :D
Maybe you can't take too much credit for it, but it's still you who made it look like this.

    Hello-

Made an attempt at adjusting the picture with too much light. I know there is a guy in there somewhere! It has been too long since I have done this! This is all I was able to do.

Nicely done, although not easy on such a tiny picture. ;)
Creative, inventive & playful like a cat. :D

Here's my latest design, but it went a bit on the fantasy tour. :D

Anyway, here's a quick, boring watercolour of my favourite Western star...

You're slipping behind, not possible. :p
Have a look here for the Xero Filters.
Edit: That was a mistake.
    It's FX-filters from AlienWare (where?).
    Have a look here too.
Great, I really like that actor a lot.

    Big Buck -

Long time no see! excuse my denseness, but is that a water color effect, or a water color?

Sonya, so glad you liked it. It is a very interesting picture, appart from the lighting difficulties. Something about all those backs turned away, contrasted with the warm comforting faces of the subjects, the nice palm trees, ect...

Okay, I wanted you all here to see it first. The first in my His / Hers Glassy Cameras. For comparison's sake I included the stock flat white XP version. In fairness to the originols creater, it is a nice camera, retaining its image at the dreaded 16x16 pixel level.

Elder: If you should decide to buy the Axialis filter you should know that the Corporate Version is far better than the Standard version. There is a story attached to how I got the corporate version at the regular price. It is both a credit to there customer service, and an indication of how annoying I can be.

P.S. Brad, I forgot to mention it, but I like John Travolta too!

It's looking real good. Very good job HandsOff.
I'm still trying out the Standard version. Can't find a Corporate version. :(
If this version 5.03 does what I need it to do, I'll buy it to make new Palm skins. :D
