Wow, really great picture. Already saved it. You're not easily satisfied, are you?
I know how it feels, I'm the same. :D
These are filters for PSP and PhotoShop and others, but I'm unable to find them. Metatools filter can't be downloaded or maybe HandsOff knows a link which works. o_O
Thanks Marja and yes it's a movie which I watched over and over again. ;)
You've a pic or two? Send them to me if you please.
If you find the tubes site back, let me know. Never can't have enough.
Very productive indeed. Get well soon and don't forget to take your medicine.
A TIFF is an image format, like JPG, BMP, PNG and so on.
Acronym for tagged image file format, one of the most widely supported file formats for storing bit-mapped images on personal computers (both PCs and Macintosh computers). TIFF graphics can be any resolution, and they can be black and white, gray-scaled, or color. Files in TIFF format often end with a .tif extension.
Have a wonderful weekend too, same to everyone else. Kids are slowly recovering again, so a lot to do. :doubt:

THANKS, Eldar, for the tiff explanation!! Sending prayers for the kids!

Ya! I love that picture, wouldn't mind having the real thing! I am always stopping myself from "over improving" something, hard to do, isnt it?? LOL!

Guess I will have to go back in time here, I know I have seen a d/ld for Kai's? Might have been a dead link, finding lots of those.

The black and white photo, a picture of two cats.. I will send it today!

    Cheers!

Does Echinacea really work? In general, I find I have a high tolerance for cures, but it would be good to find something that works.

I really like that frame! I agree that the spikes trail off a bit sooner than I would like, but I've seen real frames like that with the same sort of pattern. Probably it looks funny with too many spikes.

When I gaze at that picture it makes me feel as though the girl is waiting for me to come over and introduce myself, but the cat is saying no.

I've been meaning to introduce another plug in. It is by flaming pear, and it's called Glitterado. It makes it easy to make galaxies! you can get very dramatic results, the following one is actually pretty unremarkable except that it was easy and fun to make!

Glitter Name Tutorial> Paint Shop Pro& Photofiltre Thread

Ok, Sonya this is the way I did a glittering signature with Paint Shop.
It can be done with paint Shop 7-8-9
..maybe also with previous versions...I can't tell :doubt:

First, you need a glitter .gif

...you can take this one.... ;)

....Open the glitter .gif in Jasc Animation.
    ...you will see this :)

Re: Glitter Name Tutorial> Paint Shop Pro& Photofiltre Thread

Right click on frame 1 and click copy.
Open PSP, and right click in the workspace....
When you right click, choose on "Paste As New Image".
Give a name to it. I named it "1glitter"
then you do the same for subsequent frames.
...so you will have: "1 glitter", "2glitter" 3glitter" frames opened in
Paint Shop Pro. Do not forget to name each of them and you
can save them on your desktop as .psp files

Once you have the three frames opened in PSP,
    open a new transparent image

Leave your .psp glitters open in PSP, open a new transparent image 300x150. Click on the text tool (the big A) and choose your text. Try to choose a bold font.... I had the font "Louvaine", size 72. and "floating" selected.

    ...see screenshot

Pick out a dark colour from the glitter using the eye dropper for the stroke colour, and use white to fill, that would not change the glitter.
Make sure that Floating and Antialias are checked before you click OK.
Click on your transparent image... Now you will see your text in your image with "marching ants" all around it.(see screenshot) You can move your text to the center by sliding your mouse over it until you see a cross, left click and drag your text to where you want it. Now with your text still selected, go to Selections: Modify: Contract by 1. If you dont contract your text, the following method will NOT work and you will be unable to floodfill the layers. :doubt:

**Do NOT deselect your text until we have finished!!**

Now go to your Layer Palette: If it is not visible on your workspace, click on this icon to show it.

Right click on Layer 1 and click on Rename:

Rename this layer "layer1" and then press enter on your keyboard. Right click again on this glitter 1 layer and click on duplicate:

Right click on Copy of layer 1 and rename that layer 2. Right click on layer 1 and duplicate that again. Right click on the copy layer and rename that layer 3.

Tip: you must duplicate as many layers as glitters or until you have as many layers as there are frames on your original glitter gif. In my example here, there are 3 frames, but it can be anything from 3 to 15 depending on the glitter you have chosen.

...once you have your three layers:

Click on each of the layers in turn apart from glitter1, and click on the little glasses to turn off visibility for that layer. (A red x appears over the glasses when the layer is hidden).Keep glitter 1 as the active layer (the one highlighted in blue in the screenshot)....

....go to your patterns box and find your glitter 1 pattern

...We need to do this in order to fill the layer 1 text with the pattern of glitter 1.
...see screenshot. Go to the colour Palette....Click on the little back arrow...a little window will open....click on the square that has dots inside.

A pattern menu will open...browse up till you see the "1 glitter pattern"
    Select it.

Re: Glitter Name Tutorial> Paint Shop Pro& Photofiltre Thread

N.B. The pattern menu displays all the pattern that paint Shop Pro has by default plus all the pics that are opened in Paint Shop Pro.

...take the Fill tool (li'l bucket) from the tool palette.
Make sure you have "1 glitter" selected and fill the selected layer 1 with
    pattern "glitter1" in it.

then you return to the pattern palette...

...then do the same with "2 layer" that you will fill with glitter 2
and "3 layer" that you will fill with glitter 3... so each time you fill a new layer you return to the pattern palette to select a new pattern or glitter.

Tip: always select the layer you work in it and turn off the others
by clicking on the little glasses.

When you have filled each text layer: *Turn visibility back on for all layers!!*

This is very important, because your graphic will not work properly if you save it with any layers hidden. Now you can deselect (Selections: Select None) and save your image as it is, with all your separate layers, (Do NOT merge layers!) as a .psp file.

After you saved it on your computer, open it in Jasc Animation Software
and click on the pink button to the left(see red rectangle) in order to display your animation. If you are satisfied you save it as a .gif.

it shows how to animate an animation just like
the first link I gave, except that it is simpler
    to follow. ;)

Something that I have been interested in is if there are any programes out there that let you draw people with the "mr. potato head" method. Take this head and these eyes, and that nose, ect...

I've always wanted to be able to do a "police sketch" of somebody, with the computer.

Back to logo's, here is one that is very good from the kings of logo's Auto FX!

Uguel, I have a question. Do I have to have Animation shop to do this? Or can I do this with just Paint shop? I don't have animation shop yet. And I have already used the free trial. Thanks :)

Hi Sonya, You will actually need Animation Shop or a similar prog. It is actually made in Paint Shop....but the frames (3 in this case) are exported to Animation Shop to produce the animation. While they are very similar frames...the 3 frames are playing over and over again thus giving the effect of 'sparkles'...
Effectively, the only difference in the frames is the placement of the little white spots on your name.
