Yeah thanks Eric, but I'm stuck in a bit of a rut I think. They're not really very difficult....just copy, paste and fade out a bit. I'm just repeating the same thing over and over. I'm a bit stuck for good ideas at present :doubt: .

    Oh, sorry to hear. :(
You haven't tried to erase the background then. I don't do a lot of copy, paste and fade out, only when I have too. It's also more precise work to erase the background. Sometimes it works like a charm and sometimes I'm using the magnifier at 500 to erase the little bits and applying several corrections.
It also happens I'm thinking of an idea, but making it into a design simply doesn't work, because I can't find the right picture or I can't find out how to do it in PSP or I can't think of a theme (= lost imagination).
Don't worry too much about it. An idea will surely pop up shortly. ;)

Not bad at all. Is that a sandstorm? :D
He really getting very good at it. Must be all that practice on those beautiful pictures finally paying off. :D
    Thank you Spanner. ;)
Retouch? No, I only erased the background from an existing picture and pasted into the existing one. The jets are also erased background and duplicated it. On the second jet I applied two filters. For Brigitte, the swimmer, just the same method.
I also could have applied the wave distortion, but I like it more like this. :D

    Nice one Eric!
Nah, It was a huge wave crashing over the palm trees at the beach.....it initially looked quite good but I accidentally saved it as a gif....and then I lost ALL the quality as I resized it under 100Kb!

    Thanks Brad. ;)
Too bad you saved the original as gif :doubt:, better save it as PSP, so nothing can go wrong.
Well done Spanner.;) You can go as artistic as you want, only have to know what it does, but that will come.
Tell me about it. The other day I searched a picture, only to come to the conclusion there was nothing I could use. Too little, bad picture or not the one I wanted. :(
    Nice one. Lovely view.

Another well known Belgian sportsman. :)
An original picture where the little motorbike and Stefan's picture are erased background.
Afterwards I applied the lacquer plugin.

Eldar, tell the truth! Is the baby dreaming of a soccer ball or are YOU hoping he(?) is?? :)

That is a cute picture, I am trying to get someone else interested in this thread, one of the reasons is she can work and learn along with her daughter! Also, I think Cindy is probably very creative, so I am trying to entice her by telling her what all she can do with her kids pictures in scrapbooks, albums, etc.

    We'll see!:D

Guess I better work on my own things, first, right? :) I just think it would be a safer way to the internet than just getting on and wandering around!

OK! I still have to re-install PSP, and I d/ld that 67mg patch, I just wanted to make sure I got it all on my computer right!

    See ya all later!

    Hello again!!

While I was waiting for some downloads this morning, I found a site that you can download a new filter, called Virtual Photographer. It also comes with 12 pre-sets, from a place called www.optikvervelabs.com.

"It is compatible with PaintShopPro and some other programs. Free plugin that works for PSP too! presets that do alot of the work of editing in seconds not hours, made by a
photographer tired of spending more time at computers, than cameras!"

Some more PHoto Shop plugins at

    www.photoshopsupport.com/tools/plugins

Download the free Photoshop plug-in that's getting rave reviews from digital photographers. Virtual Photographer lets you instantly apply high quality, professional photographic styles to your digital images, with just one click.

VirtualPhotographer includes over 50 presets that automatically apply combinations of film grain, color modification, B/W, soft focus, high contrast and
many artistic effects to achieve the same professional-looking images that used to take hours of photo editing. Get results in seconds!

Compatible with Photoshop®, Photoshop® Elements, Paint Shop™ Pro®, Photo-Paint and other popular imaging applications.

They have some samples of what they do, not many, I think the majority of information is at photoshopsupport.com, so you might like to visit both places!

Hope it is something you didn't already know, can use and get excited about! :)

    Later!
