    Hi all,

I've written a review on OzOS, a Xubuntu based distro.

The review includes desktop functionality, live CD experience, networking, sharing, wireless, software management & updates functionality (including apt:foo), choice of applications, and more.

Looks like it needs a good amount of polish and seems like the devs didn't really test it that good.

Yep, this latest release needs work, I have to say that I had much greater success with the version before this one.. The desktop IS beautiful, and something that really attracted me also. In the previous version I had no trouble installing and things seemed to work out of the box, but this last version had some glaring issues, for one, I couldn't even get it to see my 2nd NTFS HD no matter what I did, which was a no go for me. I didn't dive into it too much beyond the surface though, so perhaps didn't find a lot of the problems Mrk found in this new release. Thanks for the review Mrk.

If jokes were money, you'd be now 100 bucks short.

    That's a Rodger Bodger.

Was that an upload download meter on the desktop?

    Might be ... I don't know what you're talking about :)
I'm seeing hundreds of desktop images every days for a dozen distros. My head is overloaded with Linux, so if you could be a good chap and point out exactly what you meant ...
