I have ESET set to protect changes - which means every change requires the password - so be it. I just mention this because it's the extra bit of annoying in my situation.

Booted my computer then went to dinner. When I come back, there's an Outbound Traffic warning for Macrovision Software Manager Agent, by Acresso Software. I do some research, didn't find much, checked advanced options, saw that this is agent.exe, part of installshield. So I remember action, enter my password, and hit Allow.

It comes up again. I do it again. And again, And again! So far, I've done it 8 times, and there are 8 entries in the firewall listing, and there's STILL the box there.

Suggestions on what I can do before I defenestrate this thing?

    Hello jmc,

The rules that are created, are they for all ports or just specific ones? You can try to add the application manually to allow all ports and see if it will stop bugging you.
