Is OP FWL compatible w/Avira Pro?
During install OP a window shows a message: ... Avira is NOT compatible w/ OP Fwl.

    Thanks
    Mike

I consider 2009 vastly improved over the 2008 version.

Anyone knows where I can download?

EDIT: Despite saying Outpost 2008 in downloads it is 2009!

EDIT 2: This is the best version of Outpost ever!

    Giving it a try myself.
The last version did not run well here,
but OP 2009 seams to be running fine.
    So far so good.

I believe the Security Suite contains the AV engine amongst other things. Is that what you meant? Or did the firewall used to contain AV too?

The firewall by itself contained only the anti-spyware module which evolved from their former stand alone anti-trojan product Tauscan.

Runs great with Avira premium ,recognised it on install and action was taken to make it compatable.I normally run a free firewall but will buy this.

Just make sure you choose US dollars and not euros as payment, because they charge the same amount (39.95) for it. They haven't noticed that 39.59 euros, don't correspond to 39.95 US dollars.

I've been waiting for this for ages. I had ditched Outpost 2008 due to the bugs and was temporarily using PC Tools Firewall, but im back with Outpost now. This build is exactly what the 2008 version should have been. And the new host intusion prevention features they've added may also persuade me to ditch EqSecure and simply keep Avira Premium, Outpost and SandboxIE as my securty arsenal.
