i think im going to grab both lic's but a question i have is what are the limitations on the lifetime thing. like other companies say its the life of the machine and you cant move it to a new one when you say upgrade your laptop etc.. anyone know how they work with this one?? thanks

edit grabbed the firewall for now and after placing the order this is the message in the email is this normal?? i triple checked all the info and it was correct just not sure why it was not instant does this mean i will have a problem?? paid with paypal

Your order for "Outpost Firewall Pro - Personal Pack (3 PCs, Lifetime
License)" (order number xxxxxxxxx) has been received and is being verified
by our team. Your order will most likely be processed within the next 12
hours, but in no case will it take more than 24 hours.

No problems here.Using Outpost Firewall Pro (lifetime licence) for the last four years.
I also have reactivated it at least 10 times.
From time to time, I like to start a fresh Windows system.
And now I m using it on my new laptop with no issues at all.

yes infact the same thing happened to me when i bought my license all those years ago.

I think its normal when you place it for the first time.

when i placed the order this time it worked right away.

i actually picked this up, not sure on how the AV is though, tried a few files from malwaredomainlist and all undetected, but the lifetime as long as it works is a great deal

My firewall setup is the built in Windows fw plus Mbam Pro.

    Just $10 each computer. :)

*Sometimes Mbam Pro can be had for $10.

    Really? Actually I have two...

    Not kidding.

But, really, who cares? It's a minor thing.

Who wants to pay an annual licence for a firewall? no future.

ps: Behavioral blocking (HIPS) is the role of the antivirus.

Are there any reviews of this? For $60 I may just buy the whole suite.

my order of the suite has been refused 2 times.

i bought the firewall lifetime last week, but i cant with the suite o_O

im not too much confident about the power of the antivirus... maybe i let pass the suite offer and combine the firewall with another av.

you could go just with the firewall if you have any other antivirus, i prefer the suite because its one security software less to run and less conflicts to worry about if there is an upgrade.

The Outpost antivirus did win 11 consecutive VirusBulletin's VB100 award, although it is not tested by either AV-comparatives or Av-test.

mine finally went through about an hour ago i must say their way of billing kind of stinks. but now that it went through ill grab the full suite also i may not use it right away but ill add it to my list for testing purposes if nothing else. as i said im going to pair the firewall with wsa and that should be a great combo..
