Outlook 2013 / Office 365 crashes when sending e-mail

Outlook 2013 crashes and restarts when sending an e-mail. Disabling the ESET Smart Security 5 Outlook Add-in fixes the problem. Is there a compatibility issue?

As pointed by Cudni , you can safely disable the add-on.
ESET will not scan your mail for SPAM, however Outlook has its own spam filtering you can use and adjust:

Adjust your settings and make sure your Office/Outlook is up-to-date via Microsoft Update (there are monthly junk mail filter updates).
