I tried LnS the other day and when I tested it at Shields Up, half my ports weren't stealthed. How mush configuring needs to be done so I'm invisible to the internet. I'm looking to switch firewalls, from Sygate to something, but whichever one I choose has to pass all the tests. Help?

    Hi Benton

I also am new to LnS and had the same problem. This was quickly fixed by loading the enhanced rule set - dead easy - I'll try and find the thread with details and post it here.

Now, it passes the stealth tests on GRC and PC Flank. I know nothing about adding rules but I don't need that at the moment so as far as I'm concerned it's just about as 'set and forget' as I need ( obviously after loading the enhanced rule set)

Overall, I find it great value for money.

    Hope this helps.

    Jon

    Your'e very welcome :)

It feels good to be able to help for a change - usually it's me asking the questions !

Any problems and you'll get help here from more knowledgable people than myself.

    Good luck with it.

    Cheers

    Jon
