At least 15 NFL team Twitter accounts and the league's own official account, @NFL, were the targets of hackers Monday afternoon.

Some of the accounts were simply hacked by removing the profile picture, Twitter header, Twitter name and, in a few cases, the Twitter bio. Others included identical tweets that said the hacking was carried out by a company called OurMine.

The company tagged in the tweets, OurMine, posted constant updates on its Twitter feed about the accounts it was getting into. The company claimed responsbility for taking over social media accounts for the Cowboys, Bills, Texans, Vikings, Chiefs, Packers and Bears.
So in total, 15 teams were hacked and 17 weren't (as far as we can tell).

Looks like somebody hacked the official Twitter accounts for more than a half dozen NFL teams. A Twitter spokeswoman confirmed the accounts have been hacked and says the company immediately froze them after finding out and is investigating. It looks like the OurMine crew is back and they're on a hacking spree, taking brief control of the social media accounts of high-profile individuals.
NFL teams lined up for today
In the latest round that happened today, they targeted the Twitter, Facebook, and/or Instagram accounts of multiple teams in the National Football League (NFL) and that of the League itself.
The tally for the day counts the seven victims below, which combined have tens of millions of followers: [...]
The list of NFL teams that got hit by OurMine is larger, though, as various sources, including users on Reddit, report that social media accounts for half of them fell victim to hijacking: [...]

Although this seems to be the peak of their activity in a long time, the hackers started the hijacking on Tuesday, the first victim of their victims this year being Eduardo Saverin, Facebook co-founder, now an angel investor.

UFC gets hacked on Instagram, Twitter

The official Twitter and Instagram accounts of the UFC have been hacked. A hacking organization identifying itself as OurMine is taking credit for this incident.

The original Tweet from the hackers has already been deleted — though it’s not clear if it was deleted by the hackers, the UFC, or by Twitter. Whatever the case, the Internet is forever. See a screenshot below.
Since this initial Tweet, the hackers have published several other similar Tweets. Provided they haven’t been deleted already (Twitter thankfully seems to be acting fast on this), you can see them on the UFC’s Twitter account.

If the name OurMine sounds familiar to some sports fans, that’s because the organization recently hacked the Twitter accounts of a host of NFL teams. Twitter promptly locked those accounts, and is likely to do so in the UFC’s case as well.

Facebook’s Twitter account is hijacked by notorious OurMine hacking group

Facebook’s official Twitter account started posting message from the OurMine hacking gang just before midnight UK time on Friday.
And, it appears the official Facebook Messenger account was similarly impacted.

The Verge is reporting that Facebook’s Instagram account has been similarly compromised.

From the looks of things, OurMine compromised Facebook’s Khoros account and used that to post the unauthorised message to the social media giant’s Twitter account. Khoros is a platform used by big brands to manage their social media engagement and err.. clearly, in the case of Facebook’s Khoros account at the very least, it wasn’t properly secured.
Thankfully OurMine has a history of being more interested in mischief than malice.

Barcelona hit by HACK ATTACK from cyber group OurMine

Football giants Barcelona have been hit by hackers OurMine for a second time, with the cyber group taking over the club’s Twitter accounts and sending messages to their millions of followers on Saturday.

“Hi, we are OurMine. Well, this is the second time, the security level is better but still not the best to improve your accounts security,” the group wrote, before providing its details.
It is the second time that the club have been hit by the group, following a similar hack attack in August of 2017.

The club did promptly regain control of their accounts, deleting the messages, but they were merely among the latest sporting targets for OurMine, a group which frequently uses cyber vandalism to advertise its services.
Also hit on Saturday was the official International Olympic Committee (IOC) media account.

Twitter says Olympics, IOC accounts hacked

Twitter said on Saturday that an official Twitter account of the Olympics and the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) media Twitter account had been hacked and temporarily locked.

The accounts were hacked through a third-party platform, a spokesperson for the social media platform said in an emailed statement, without giving further details.

“As soon as we were made aware of the issue, we locked the compromised accounts and are working closely with our partners to restore them,” the Twitter spokesperson said.
A spokesperson for the IOC separately said that the IOC was investigating the potential breach.

NCT 127's official Twitter account gets hacked by white hat hackers

Just a few minutes ago, the following message was posted on the NCT 127 official Twitter account. Following the website merely says that they change no account information, and that their hacking is just to remind people to be more careful about their account security (and of course, also to advertise their services.)
OurMine has hacked accounts of various people such as Mark Zuckerberg, Sundair Pichai (Google CEO), Jack Dorsey (Twitter founder), John Hanke (Pokemon GO creator), and much more.

At the time of writing, the tweet has yet to be deleted. Hopefully SM Entertainment also changed their password!
