    Are there any other types of ad muncher types avaible that are free/shareware?

    admuncher gives you a free 30 trial I do like most of the things it does but I am looking for something a bit smaller with the adblocking functions.

    Maybe someone could give me some helpful hints

    Proxomitron. Download the exe file, install it, and open the help file.
    Don't be intimidated. You can use the default settings and as you learn how to use it, you can up the settings a bit.

    Why don't you simply use Firefox with AdBlock Extension? Everything you need to block those popups and banners.
