A few months ago I found a trojan called OSX/Exploit.Smid.B on my PC running Windows 7. The thing is, the trojan could have been on my computer for months before I found it since the other AV I was using before ESET couldn't find the trojan. There was no abnormal activity on my computer though.

I don't have the log but I think the trojan had something to do with a java problem.

Since the trojan has 'OSX' in the title, does this mean that it did not do any harm to my Windows PC? Or can it be a multi-platform virus? (I don't know if that's even possible:doubt: )

I've been worrying about what the hacker could have done to my comp, and if this trojan actually couldn't harm my comp it would be a big relief.

    Thank you.
