Yes it is available in the Chrome Web Store, just got it now.

Thanks @Foulest for submitting the bug report to Vivaldi, hopefully they will fix it soon.

    Osprey 1.1.8:

    https://github.com/Foulest/Osprey/releases/tag/1.1.8

    Changes in 1.1.8
    • Added Control D Security DNS back to Osprey
    • Added MalwareURL Protection to Osprey
    • Fixed popup panel height on low resolutions
    • Adjusted email addresses and message content for reports
    • Adjusted default settings based on false positives
    • Disabled notifications by default
    P.S.

Removed the question because I understood which database the new MalwareURL Protection refers to.

Running the latest version, and as you can see there is a change. Gone from 1/2 pages to 1/3 pages. So, better but still can't scroll.

@Tarnak I think it has changed to 3 pages for everyone (it has for me)
What you are missing is the weblink and build version at the bottom.

I have to turn notifications back on every time I start my browser (Firefox), which is a bit annoying. Is there anything that can be done about it so that notifications are turned on by default?

I'm a little confused about your issue. Osprey uses your browser's local storage to save changed settings. On a fresh install, changing any settings immediately stores your settings in local storage so that when you restart, your settings are saved. Open an issue on GitHub here.

It's been submitted to extension stores and should be available within the hour.

    Hi,

I've been watching this thread with interest and only installed Osprey Browser Protection today. I'm pretty happy so far, but I have a quick question. I already use Quad9 DNS, so is it worth having that enabled in the add-on?

    Thanks.

It won't cause any conflicts. There won't be any slowdowns. The only concern is network bandwidth, but apart from that, there's no real downside in making one extra network request every time you visit a website, apart from a few KBs of data. It's unnoticeable.

Unfortunately, I have an issue with my laptop, and can't test at present.

1.1.19 installed. Vivaldi right-click options still not selectable as yet.

    @Foulest
With right-click options not being tickable does that mean that notifications will be on or off ? (just not showing the ticks) I ask because the other day I got a notification in the little Windows taskbar icon panel saying Vivaldi had stopped a site which was Osprey blocking a site.

The issue was that I couldn't open my browser, but it is working again, hence this post.

I don't think 1.1.19 has improved anything. MalwareURL Protection has disappeared altogether.

What browser are you using? You should be able to scroll down now.

You can see what the values actually are by enabling developer mode in your browser's extensions page and opening Osprey's console.

Okay. What would I see there if notification were on?
Just to be clear with the option being not selectable, is notifications on or off in reality.
