OS Selector locks up

After all of MudCrab's help getting me going over the last couple weeks everything was running GREAT until a few days ago. New problem.

All of a sudden a few days ago, when OSS boots it brings up the menu to select the OS to boot and just freezes after the OS is selected. I can still move the mouse, but not do anything else. If I let it sit about 10 minutes (it's well over 5 minutes for sure) it will finally boot up. Does this no matter what OS I select to boot to.

Any ideas?

Sorry. Never mind, I figured it out almost immediately after hitting Post on the first message.

I have a USB hard drive that I plugged in and used to just leave plugged in most of the time even when shutting down or rebooting. It happens to be bootable with DOS (OSS actually found it and added it to the boot menu). Once I unplugged that drive on boot up then OSS booted right up.
