    ;) Hello all!

I am a new member of this forum and I hope I am posting in the correct forum. I downloaded the demo version of Disk Director and installed it. I decided to buy it and downloaded it. When I installed it, and ran OS selector from it, the OS Selector popup screen comes up with the same demo popup that it did before. Should I have removed Disk director and did a new installation or what? I did go to the programs/Disk director folder and install OS selector again. There were two identical files in the folder and I tried to pick the correct one but after the installation was done, I still get the demo screen for OS Selector. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
I see I did post in the wrong forum so I am reposting it in this forum.

With most Acronis demo software you need to remove the demo version before installing the full version.

It's generally a good idea to uninstall the trial version (or previous build) before installing the standard version.

If you have a problem after you've uninstalled the trial version and you can create a new DD CD using the standard version, you could include the OSS programs on the CD and then boot to it and trying installing OSS that way.

Thanks so much for replying so promptly. I had an idea that I should have removed the demo software first but everything was working so well, I did not want to have to go through renaming the oses again. It would be nice if Acronis would just allow you to enter your key and have it unlock the software so that you would have the full version.

    Thanks:cool:
