Over the years, O'Reilly Media has published a number of "Open Books"--books with various forms of "open" copyright. The reasons for "opening" copyright, as well as the specific license agreements under which they are opened, are as varied as our authors.

    here are some of them

    # The Cathedral and the Bazaar
    # Creating Applications with Mozilla
    # DocBook: The Definitive Guide
    # Embedding Perl in HTML with Mason
    # Free as in Freedom
    # Learning Debian/GNU Linux
    # Linux Device Drivers, 2nd Edition
    # Linux Network Administrator's Guide, 2nd Edition
    # MySQL Reference Manual
    # OpenSources: Voices from the Open Source Revolution
    # Understanding Open Source and Free Software Licensing
    # Using Samba, 2nd Edition
    # Version Control with Subversion
    # We the Media
    # Volume 6B: Motif Reference Manual, 2nd Edition

Somtimes you are looking for an answer to a question you didn't even know you were asking? NO?

Well, Iceni, your link just did all that and more for me! Amazing- what and where you can find your answers sometimes!!

Of course, answers always bring up more questions, but, I will settle for the winter with these!:D

    Thanks, Ice!!
